Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company is launching its super-premium offering to the UK this February with the arrival of 1664 BLANC.
Brewed for the UK market at Carlsberg Marston’s Northampton brewery and packaged in unique, blue cobalt 330ml bottles, 1664 BLANC’s flavour profile features delicate citrus notes which echo the deluxe finish of champagne.
Influenced by its Parisian roots and well-loved by consumers across more than 70 other European, Asian and North American markets, BLANC’s arrival in the UK will coincide with major retail and fashion partnerships. These will see BLANC unveiled as the principal partner of London Fashion Week and a series of design-led activations at the iconic London department store, Selfridges.
BLANC will be available with exclusive activations in Selfridges and at retailers nationwide from February and March 2024, including supermarkets Tesco and Waitrose. Draught will be available from April, alongside exclusive glassware from June to mark the summer season.
Dharmesh Rana, Director of Marketing, Premium Brands, at Carlsberg Marston Brewing Company said:
“There is genuine excitement surrounding the imminent launch of BLANC in the UK, particularly as this year marks the 360th anniversary of the 1664 brand. BLANC is already a global success story, delivering an exceptional drinking experience, so we’re really thrilled to be bringing it to the UK.
“Consumers really love the taste and the modern, design-led look of the product, our customers can see the category opportunity and are excited for the growth that it will bring. Our partnerships and marketing initiatives are designed to get everyone talking about and trying BLANC throughout the year.”
